Harc az ukróniáért

If history is written by the ‘victors’, are alternative account(s) of ‘the defeated’? historiography conceived as practice “giving meaning to meaningless” (Theodor Lessing), we assume that ‘alternative historiography’ or accounts question prevailing interpretation history? Are uchronias (also known historical narratives, allohistories, parahistories, counterfactual histories and historiographic metafiction), especially ‘uchronic fiction’, in fact, only compensatory products desire-driven thinking? As a matter it not rather few contemporary Hungarian novels with aspirations an unfortunate position but uchronic short stories well. Of nearly three hundred submitted 2014–2018 candidates for Péter Zsoldos Award, national annual prize awarded best (published) SF novel story 2014–2018, there six pieces. It help these pieces fiction I outline (1) relationship between philosophy uchronia; (2) (meta)taxonomies (3) characteristics those this kind related Hungary.
